The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex twice world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
